Logo Design and Copywriting: Mad Men debut new Sterling Cooper and Partners logo

In a fictional press release, American network AMC have unveiled the design for popular TV series Mad Men's newly-re-branded advertising agency.

Fans of the show will identify with the faux press release following the recent company merger of season 8, commitment from AMC to give the brand life through social media, and clever "quotes" from the show's characters, including Peggy as chief copywriter. As far as the branding design goes, what do our designers and artists make of the overhaul?

"The logo for the combined entity is clean, visually striking, and you have to agree the ampersand is funky," said SC&P partner Jim Cutler.
