A freelance web developer has used his coding skills to re-create a map of the London Underground to celebrate 150 years of the transport service.
The original map was drawn in 1931 by electrical draughtsman Harry Beck.
The project took 120 hours to complete over five weeks, working "during the evenings and weekends," said London-based contractor John Galantini .
"The CSS Tube Map is an accurate replica of the iconic diagram used to represent the London Underground network.
It has been built using HTML5, CSS3 and a tiny bit of jQuery. It uses absolutely no images; as matter of fact all the symbols have been recreated using HTML entities, styled and arranged by CSS."
